How to delete your account
⚠️ Permanent Action: This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Open Settings → Account Management → Delete Account in the Recomp AI app and follow the prompts. You'll be asked to confirm that you really want to continue, and once you do, the deletion runs automatically.
What happens next:
- You'll receive an in-app confirmation that your account deletion has started automatically
- All account, profile, health logs, progress photos, diagnostic IDs, and backups are permanently erased within 30 days (it usually finishes right away, but this window lets us handle rare delays)
- You'll receive a final confirmation email when the purge is complete
What gets deleted / what is retained
Deleted within 30 days
- Email / social-login ID
- Profile (DOB/age band, sex, height/weight, body-fat, measurements, timezone)
- All nutrition & workout logs
- Progress photos
Retained (reason & duration)
- App-store purchase receipts (tax/accounting) – up to 7 yrs, not linked back to logs
- Encrypted off-site backups – overwritten ≤ 30 days
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics (e.g., "feature usage counts")
