Recomp AI ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Recomp AI mobile application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms are between you and Recomp AI, the developer of the App. These Terms also serve as the App's Terms of Use (EULA).
The App offers AI-assisted nutrition tracking and coaching. You can log meals and nutrition data through text, voice, photos, and barcode scans; set goals and targets; view daily and weekly review insights; track streaks; and chat with an AI coach. The App generates insights and recommendations based on your inputs and logged data.
You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required by local law) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may sign in with email and password or use third-party login options like Apple or Google. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
The App provides tools for general wellness and nutrition tracking. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified health professional before making changes to your diet or exercise, especially if you have a medical condition.
The App uses AI to generate coaching insights and responses. AI outputs are automated and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying information and making your own decisions. Do not rely on AI responses for medical or emergency situations.
The App lets you submit content such as meal logs, chat messages, photos, audio recordings, barcode scans, body measurements, and goals ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, analyze, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Services, including generating AI insights and responses.
You represent that you have the rights to your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. We may remove User Content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Some features require device permissions, such as camera access for barcode scans and photos, microphone access for voice logging, and photo library access for uploads. You can control these permissions in your device settings, but disabling them may limit App functionality.
The App may offer paid subscriptions or premium features. Pricing and terms are shown in the App or the app store listing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
Payments are processed by Apple or Google, and we do not store your full payment information. Trials or promotional offers, if any, are described in the App; when a trial ends, the subscription converts to paid unless canceled beforehand. Refunds are handled by the app store in accordance with their policies.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Apple ID Subscriptions on iOS or Google Play Subscriptions on Android. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
You can delete individual entries inside the App (Settings > Data & Privacy) or permanently delete your account in Settings > Account Management > Delete Account. For step-by-step instructions, visit our Account Deletion page.

You agree not to misuse the App or Services. In particular, you agree not to:
The App relies on third-party services to operate. This includes Supabase for authentication and data storage, OpenAI for AI processing, Open Food Facts for food product data and images, Superwall for paywalls and subscription status, PostHog for product analytics, and Sentry for crash reporting. Use of Apple or Google sign-in, and in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play, is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside of our control.
The App uses food product data and images from Open Food Facts. Open Food Facts provides this content under open licenses:
These licenses require attribution to Open Food Facts and a link to openfoodfacts.org, a relevant local version, or the specific product page, and share alike for derivative works. We include attribution where Open Food Facts data or images appear.
These licenses cover only rights held by Open Food Facts and its contributors. Product names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
We and our licensors own the App, Services, and all associated content and trademarks. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms.
If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the following applies:
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may provide additional notice in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
